The Master of Education degree in recreation and sport management prepares students with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to be directors and superintendents of recreation for communities, directors of university recreation programs and to work in university and professional sports settings.
All students pursuing master's degrees in recreation and sport management are required to take a 6 credit hour Research and Statistics core and a recreation philosophy course (Principles of Recreation) along with the required core courses in each concentration.
